Entire houses in Shukrapath area painted with same color (photos)

KATHMANDU: A painting project is underway in the New Road area of Kathmandu, where houses near Shukrapath Road are being painted in the same colors.

The entire area is being painted with white walls and green windows, a nod to the architectural style of homes built during the reign of Juddha Shumsher Rana.

In addition to the painting, wide footpaths have been constructed, and electrical wires have been removed.

The work also includes the completion of vehicle parking, footpath management, and the undergrounding of electrical wires.
