Prachanda warns of dire consequences for those trying to erase People’s War
He asserted that no force can erase the People’s War and that any such attempt would face dire consequences.
KATHMANDU: Chair of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ has issued a strong warning against attempts to erase the legacy of the People’s War, stating that those who try will be reduced to ashes.
Speaking at an event organized by the party’s central office on Thursday to mark the 30th People’s War Day, Prachanda emphasized that the sacrifices of thousands of martyrs and the struggles of countless disappeared fighters have deeply rooted the movement in Nepal’s history for centuries to come.
He asserted that no force can erase the People’s War and that any such attempt would face dire consequences.
Calling People’s War Day a national occasion for all oppressed communities, he stressed the need to strengthen the achievements gained and push forward on the path to socialism.
He also accused reactionary forces of conspiring to prevent the republic from truly serving the people.
