However, he prefers to be recognized as an artist from Eastern Nepal. His musical journey began with Melange Band 25 years ago, and since then, he has carved out a unique identity through his distinctive lyrics, composition, and style. He has previously released two albums featuring his original work.
Bhattarai’s creations span various genres, from folk to modern music, touching on themes of love, life, and social awareness. Many celebrated Nepali singers have lent their voices to his compositions, further establishing him as a versatile creator in the industry.
“Umer Dhalkeko” features the melodious voice of Nepal Idol Season 2 winner Ravi Oad, who has gained immense popularity for his distinct singing style. Oad, known for his versatility across folk and pop genres, has delivered an emotionally captivating performance in the song.
The music video includes appearances by Ravi Oad, veteran actor Jay Kishan Basnet, actress Bina Raut, and Bhattarai himself, bringing life to the song’s theme.
The song was officially launched at a special event in Kathmandu, attended by key media representatives.
