NC leadership to meet on brother organizations’ general convention

KATHMANDU: The leadership of Nepali Congress, including President Sher Bahadur Deuba, is set to convene a meeting to discuss the upcoming general convention of the party’s affiliated brother organizations.

The meeting will be held at the party’s central office in Sanepa at 1 PM.

According to the party, discussions will focus on coordinating and facilitating the general conventions of these organizations, with the participation of the party’s director committee and the heads of the affiliated bodies

. Nepali Congress has instructed that all affiliated organizations hold their conventions by the end of Chait.

Currently, out of 13 brother organizations, only two have elected committees, while the rest are functioning with ad-hoc committees.
