BAREILLY, UP – A groom lost his life in a road accident just hours after his wedding.
The incident occurred when 27-year-old Satish, who had married Swati from Sangrampur village in Mirganj, was on his way to buy sweets with friends late at night.
According to reports, their speeding car lost control and crashed into a parked truck near a roadside eatery in the Izzatnagar police station area.
Satish and another passenger, Vijanesh, died on the spot, while three others sustained serious injuries.
The groom had returned home with his newlywed wife after the wedding rituals when he went out to buy sweets for departing relatives.
However, instead of celebrations, grief engulfed both families as Satish’s body was brought home.
Hearing the news, the bride collapsed in shock.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
