Woman jumped into Narayani River rescued alive

KATHMANDU: A 35-year-old woman who jumped into the Narayani River from Triveni Barrage has been rescued safely.

The Armed Police Force (APF) team from BOP Binayi Triveni, led by Inspector Ganesh Thapa, swiftly responded to the incident and rescued Anita Harijan of Pratappur Rural Municipality-3, Somani, on Tuesday.

Following the rescue, she was taken to Triveni Health Post for medical evaluation.
