Singer Eleena Chauhan divorces husband Vishnu Sapkota

KATHMANDU: Singer Eleena Chauhan has officially separated from her husband, Vishnu Sapkota.
Eleena married Baglung resident Vishnu Sapkota in Baisakh. However, their marriage lasted less than nine months before she filed for divorce.
The case was finalized today by the Kathmandu District Court.
Following the court’s decision, Eleena shared an emotional message on Facebook, addressing her former husband as “Dear Vishnu.”
In her post, she reflected on their wedding vows, bangles, sindoor, and marriage registration, stating that everything remained the same, but physical union alone does not define a marriage.
She emphasized that emotional connection, trust, and understanding are the essence of a true relationship.
Expressing acceptance of the separation, she stated that their journey together had ended early, and they were now legally free to pursue their own paths.
She also revealed that she had relinquished all legal property rights as a wife, leaving everything to Vishnu for his progress and success.
In closing, Eleena wished Vishnu the best for his future.
