KATHMANDU: The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has announced that all preparations for the upcoming Four-Nation Women’s Football Tournament have been finalized.

For the first time, Nepal is set to host this international competition, scheduled to take place from Feb 17 to 26.

ANFA spokesperson Suresh Shah shared the details during a press conference on Wednesday.

The tournament will feature Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, and Lebanon, marking a significant milestone for women’s football in the country.

ANFA has sold the ticketing rights for Rs 135 million and broadcasting rights for Rs 66 million.

The matches will be held at Dasharath Stadium, Tripureshwar, with ticket prices set at Rs 1,000 for VIP seats and Rs 500 for general seating.

Participating teams will train at ANFA headquarters in Satdobato and the Nepal Army’s ground in Bhadrakali.

The estimated budget for organizing the tournament stands at approximately Rs 250.56 million.

This tournament is expected to boost Nepal’s presence in international women’s football and provide a platform for top-level competition.
