Federal parliament meetings today: Discussions on key bills

KATHMANDU: Both houses of the Federal Parliament are set to meet today.
The House of Representatives will convene at 1 PM, with the agenda including the presentation of the annual report of the National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission.
Additionally, Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel will present the Secured Transactions (First Amendment) Bill, 2081, for discussion and approval.
Meanwhile, the National Assembly will meet at 1:15 PM to discuss and pass the Media Council Bill, 2080.
Finance Minister Paudel is also expected to present the Secured Transactions (First Amendment) Bill, 2080, along with the Finance Committee’s report.
Furthermore, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung will present the Media Council Bill, 2080, for discussion and approval, along with the report from the Legislative Management Committee.
