KATHMANDU: Nepali film Aktor: Take One is set to release in Australia following its successful screenings in Nepal and Japan.

The first show will take place in Sydney on Feb 21, with screenings planned in Canberra and other cities, distributor Rajjung Chhetri of Issa Vibe Event confirmed.

For the Australian release, Issa Vibe has partnered with Party Time Nepal, Suraj Bista, and Ajay Rajbanshi.

Currently in its second week in Nepal, Aktor: Take One has generated buzz, with audiences demanding a sequel. Its climax has drawn comparisons to the 2012 blockbuster Loot.

Director Rajan Bhusal has received widespread praise, and lead actor Pradeep Khadka has reaffirmed his versatility.

Debut actress Divya Rayamajhi has been warmly welcomed by audiences, while Raj Ballav Koirala’s return to the big screen after a decade has been highly appreciated.
