The disaster buried around 10 residential homes and one production facility.
Rescue teams have managed to save two individuals—one with serious injuries and the other with minor wounds—both of whom are receiving medical care at a local hospital.
Persistent rainfall and unstable geological conditions have further complicated ongoing rescue efforts.
Authorities have evacuated more than 200 residents, with 155 taking shelter at a school in Junlian.
Nearly 949 personnel from various sectors, including military forces, armed police, firefighters, emergency responders, medical staff, and telecommunications teams, are engaged in the rescue operation.
