KATHMANDU: Manchester City secured a comeback victory against Leyton Orient, while Chelsea suffered a defeat to Brighton and exited the FA Cup.

The match saw an early setback for City as goalkeeper Stefan Ortega’s own goal in the 16th minute gave Leyton the lead.
However, Abduqodir Khusanov equalized in the 56th minute before De Bruyne struck the winner in the 79th minute.
In another fixture, Brighton eliminated Chelsea with a 2-1 victory. Chelsea took an early lead in the 5th minute after Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen’s own goal, failing to control a cross from Cole Palmer.
However, Brighton responded quickly, with Jorginho Rutter leveling the match with a header in the 12th minute. Kaoru Mitoma then secured Brighton’s win with a 57th-minute strike.
Elsewhere in the FA Cup, Newcastle edged Birmingham 3-2, Ipswich dominated Coventry 4-1, Millwall beat Leeds United 2-0, Burnley defeated Southampton 1-0, Bournemouth overcame Everton 2-0, and Fulham triumphed over Wigan 2-1.
