Mbappé’s Goal saves Real Madrid from defeat in La Liga

KATHMANDU: Real Madrid avoided defeat in La Liga as Kylian Mbappé’s crucial goal secured a 1-1 draw against Atlético Madrid in the city derby on Saturday.

Atletico took the lead in the 35th minute through a penalty converted by Julián Álvarez.

However, Mbappé equalized in the 50th minute, keeping Madrid in the game.

With 50 points from 23 matches, Real Madrid remains at the top of the league table, while Atlético sits just behind with 49 points.
