Fire at Ministry of Water Supply brought under control

KATHMANDU: A fire that broke out at the Ministry of Water Supply in Singha Durbar on Saturday morning has been brought under control.

The fire started at around 9 AM on the second floor of the ministry building.

According to SP Apil Raj Bohara of the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police, the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, but an electrical short circuit is suspected.

Authorities confirmed that there was no major damage except for minor losses.

Further investigation into the incident is underway.
