Maguire’s late header sends Man United past Leicester in FA Cup

KATHMANDU: Manchester United secured a 2-1 victory over Leicester City in the FA Cup fourth round, thanks to a dramatic injury-time header from Harry Maguire.

Leicester took the lead in the 42nd minute through Bobby De Cordova-Reid, but United equalized in the 68th minute with a goal from Joshua Zirkzee.

Just when the match seemed headed for extra time, Maguire’s powerful header in the third minute of stoppage time sealed the win for United.

Leicester, currently battling relegation in the Premier League, failed to hold onto their lead.

Meanwhile, United’s struggles continue, as they sit 13th in the league table.
