Committee directs to hold sports competition as scheduled
The 10th National Sports Competition was initially scheduled for the period from Nov 17-24, in Karnali.
KATHMANDU: The Education, Health, and Information Technology Committee of the Federal Parliament has directed the government to hold the 10th National Sports Competition in Karnali Province as scheduled.
At a meeting held today in Singha Durbar, the committee instructed to proceed with the event as planned. Committee Chair Amar Bahadur Thapa emphasized the need to expedite preparations, urging officials to work on a “fast track” to ensure the competition is held on time.
He reiterated that the committee’s goal is to conduct the event as scheduled.
“The committee’s wish is to hold the sports event on time. Please find ways to fast-track it and ensure it happens within the designated timeframe,” said Chair Thapa.
The 10th National Sports Competition was initially scheduled for the period from Nov 17-24, in Karnali.
However, due to delays, the event will now take place from April 5-12.
