KATHMANDU: The recently released Nepali film Aktor: Take One has entered its second week with outstanding reviews.

According to the distribution company DCN, the film secured 102 shows on the first day of its second week, marking a promising start.

However, the producers remain silent about the box office performance in its first week.

The film is currently being screened in multiple countries outside Nepal. Actor Pradeep Khadka has traveled to Japan for the release, where the premiere was held two days ago.

Khadka watched the film with hundreds of fans and is set to attend shows across various Japanese cities before heading to the U.S.

The distribution rights for the film in both the U.S. and Canada have been acquired by a related company, and it is also set to release in Europe.

Audience demand for a sequel is growing, and comparisons to the 2014 film Loot have been made due to its gripping climax.

Director Rajan Bhusal has received significant praise for his work.

Through this film, Pradeep Khadka has once again proven his versatility as an actor.

Newcomer Divya Rai Majhi has been well-received, while veteran actor Rajballabh Koirala’s return to the screen after a decade has also been met with acclaim.

Actress Anna Sharma, who returns after a hiatus, is also garnering positive reviews.

The film features Pradeep, Aana, Divya, and Rajballabh, along with other prominent actors such as Divya Dev, Srijana Adhikari, Usha Rajak, and Sushil Sitaula.

The script was written by Akash Baral and Rajan Bhusal.

The film is a joint presentation by Adhrut Films and A Moti Films, produced by Thaman Kumar Bhandari, creative producer Moti Karki, and co-producer Anish Bhusal.
