PM Oli to hold virtual meeting with CM today

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to hold a virtual discussion with all seven provincial chief ministers today at 1 PM.
The meeting will take place from the Action Room of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the discussion will focus on the progress of development projects and infrastructure initiatives in the provinces.
Despite seven months passing in the current fiscal year, provincial governments have struggled with capital expenditure, raising concerns over project implementation.
Frequent changes in provincial secretaries and a lack of necessary laws have further hindered effective governance at the provincial level.
Following the hour-long discussion, PM Oli is scheduled to attend a preparatory meeting for the Sagarmatha Dialogue at 2 PM.
