Barcelona storms into Copa del Rey semifinals with 5-0 win over Valencia

KATHMANDU: Barcelona cruised into the Copa del Rey semifinals with a dominant 5-0 victory over Valencia in the quarterfinals on Thursday.

Ferran Torres stole the show with a stunning hat-trick, completing it within the first 30 minutes.

Fermín López and Lamine Yamal added a goal each to seal an emphatic win.

Barcelona took full control in the first half, racing to a 4-0 lead.

Torres struck in the 3rd, 17th, and 30th minutes, while López found the net in the 23rd. Yamal wrapped up the scoring in the 59th minute.

In another quarterfinal clash, Real Sociedad secured a 2-0 win over Osasuna to book their spot in the last four.

With Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid already through, the Copa del Rey semifinals are now set for an intense battle among Spain’s top teams.
