Mother & daughter found dead in Kailali

KATHMANDU: A mother and her young daughter were found dead in Godawari Municipality-11, Gothan, Kailali.

According to DSP Kabindra Singh Bohara, spokesperson for the District Police Office, 24-year-old Mira Kami and her two-year-old daughter, Princi, were discovered hanging inside their home on Thursday evening.

Family member Naresh BK spotted them and immediately informed the police.

At the time of the incident, Mira’s husband was in India for work, and her mother-in-law was also not at home.

The bodies have been sent to Seti Provincial Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the incident.
