Govt holds back six ordinances from Parliament

KATHMANDU: The government will not present six ordinances in Parliament today as previously scheduled.

Both houses of Parliament had planned to table the ordinances for discussion, but the government decided to withdraw them, fearing they might be rejected.

A leader stated that the decision was influenced by the numerical equation in the National Assembly and ongoing discussions with Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal.
