Pathibhara Cable Car dispute: 17 arrested protesters released
Among those released, three were from Taplejung, eight from Damak in Jhapa, and six from Dharan.

KATHMANDU: Seventeen individuals arrested during protests against the construction of a cable car in the Pathibhara area of Taplejung have been released.
According to Bhim Bahadur Dahal, spokesperson for the Koshi Province Police Office, all detainees from different districts have been freed.
Among those released, three were from Taplejung, eight from Damak in Jhapa, and six from Dharan.
The arrests took place on Jan 25 during demonstrations at Baludanda in the Pathibhara area, followed by protests in Damak, Jhapa, and Sunsari.
