As the detention debate continues at Chitwan District Court, additional government prosecutors from three districts have been deployed.
To make the arguments more effective, prosecutors from neighboring districts have joined the proceedings.
On Wednesday, Chitwan’s District Attorney Ravi Nyaupane, along with government prosecutors Amrit Subedi and Buddha Bahadur Thapa, presented their arguments.
However, the Office of the Attorney General has further strengthened the case by sending District Attorneys Bhola Nath Niroula from Parsa, Dasharath Pangeny from Dhading, and Shambhu Kumar Basnet from Bara to Chitwan.
The decision aims to bolster the prosecution’s stance and clarify legal aspects.
Additionally, senior advocates Dinesh Tripathi, Surendra Bhandari, and Ram Chandra Gautam are actively representing the cooperative victims.
They have officially registered their participation in today’s hearing.
The hearing is taking place in the bench of Judge Dayaram Dhakal at Chitwan District Court.
On the second day, the plaintiff’s lawyers are presenting their arguments, following which 11 defense lawyers will argue in favor of Lamichhane.
