Requested to upgrade TU grounds by working in three shifts: PM

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has directed the concerned bodies to complete the work of upgrading the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Kathmandu, in three shifts and on time.

On Thursday morning, Prime Minister Oli informed through social media that he has directed to proceed with the work of constructing floodlights, parapets and an international-level stadium at the Tribhuvan University Ground in three shifts and complete it on time.

He said that on Wednesday, he discussed with the Urban Development Minister, the secretary and officials of the ministry on what is being done to complete the construction of the cricket stadium in Kirtipur on time.
