KATHMANDU: Kathmandu police have arrested seven individuals accused of involvement in gang-related activities.
A team from the Valley Crime Investigation Office apprehended them from Bouddha on Wednesday.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Gopal Moktan, Roman Magar, Suman Parajuli, Manohar Thapa Magar, Ronis Baramu, Roshan Tamang, and Gun Bahadur Gurung.
According to SSP Ramesh Basnet of the Valley Crime Investigation Office, they were taken into custody on charges of engaging in criminal activities.
Police stated that the suspects had posted a TikTok video showing them cutting a cake with khukuris and swords, spreading fear among the public.
Investigators further revealed that the group was involved in creating terror and running illegal extortion schemes.
Authorities have launched a detailed investigation into the case.
