Nepal sets 146-run target for Netherlands

KATHMANDU: Nepal has set a 146-run target for the Netherlands in their fifth match of the Tri-Nation T20 Series.

Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Nepal posted 145/4 in the allotted overs.

Pooja Mahato starred with a brilliant half-century, scoring 62 runs.

Skipper Indu Barma contributed 39, while Rubina Chhetri added 20. Kavita Joshi scored 7, while openers Samjhana Khadka and Mamata Chaudhary managed 6 and 1, respectively.

For the Netherlands, Iris claimed two wickets, while Caroline de Lange and Heather Siegers picked up one each.
