Himalayan Cricket Academy wins KCA U-14 Cricket Tournament title

KATHMANDU: Himalayan Cricket Academy clinched the KCA U-14 Cricket Tournament title by defeating Oasis Cricket Academy by 60 runs in the final held on Monday.

Ganchang Mishra and Aaron Jung Giri were the top scorers for Oasis, both making 11 runs.
Earlier, Himalayan, opting to bat first, saw Tapendra Bisht score 26 runs, while Sulabh Nyaupane contributed 15 runs.
With the victory, Himalayan Cricket Academy received a trophy, medals, and a cash prize of 50,000, while the runner-up, Oasis, was awarded 30,000.
In individual awards, Himalayan’s Saugat Dhami from Team A was named Best Bowler with 10 wickets, while Kavin Deyal was recognized as the Best Batsman.
The Player of the Series award went to Himalayan’s Jayendra Bisht. All three players received 5,000 each.
The final and closing ceremony was attended by Cricket Association Nepal (CAN) Chair Chaturbahadur Chand as the chief guest, along with Vice President Roshan Kumar Singh, Kathmandu Cricket Academy’s inauguration guests, Bhangaal Municipality Mayor Sanjeev Shah, and Nepal national team player Asif Sheikh, among others.
