Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Thailand posted 106 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

At one stage, Thailand was in trouble, but Thipatcha Putthawong and Chanida Sutthiruang played crucial innings.

Putthawong remained unbeaten on 26, while Sutthiruang scored an unbeaten 27.

Opener Nattaya Boochatham contributed 10 runs, while Apisara Suwanchonrathi added 17.

Nannapat Koncharoenkai made 19, and Phannita Maya managed just 1 run. Two other batters were dismissed for a duck.

For Nepal, Manisha Upadhyay was the standout bowler, claiming three wickets.

Pooja Mahato and Rachana Chaudhary took one wicket each.
