Prince Edward’s wife arrives in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Sophie, the wife of Britain’s Prince Edward, has arrived in Kathmandu.

She landed at Tribhuvan International Airport this morning, while Prince Edward is expected to arrive shortly.

Following their arrival, the royal couple will visit the British Embassy in Lainchaur.

As per the schedule, they will head to Sheetal Niwas at 4:15 PM to meet President Ram Chandra Paudel before returning to the embassy.

The British royals will stay in Nepal for six days, with their departure scheduled for the evening of Feb 9.
