KATHMANDU: Chelsea secured a crucial 2-1 victory over West Ham United on Monday, moving up to fourth place in the English Premier League table, surpassing Manchester City.

However, Pedro Neto equalized in the 64th minute, bringing Chelsea back into the contest.

The decisive moment came in the 74th minute when West Ham’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka scored an own goal, sealing a 2-1 win for Chelsea.

With this victory, Chelsea now has 43 points from 24 matches, two points ahead of Manchester City.

They remain four points behind third-placed Nottingham Forest.

Liverpool leads the table with 56 points, followed by Arsenal with 50.
