Maoist Centre reshuffles Provincial in-charges
A meeting of the party's office bearers, held on Monday at the residence of Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' in Khumaltar, finalized the reshuffle.
KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has made changes in the responsibilities of its provincial in-charges.
A meeting of the party’s office bearers, held on Monday at the residence of Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ in Khumaltar, finalized the reshuffle.
No changes were made in the in-charge positions of Sudurpashchim, Koshi, and Gandaki provinces.
Hari Bol Gajurel continues as the in-charge of Koshi, while Dinanath Sharma remains in Gandaki. Similarly, Girirajmani Pokharel retains his role in Sudurpashchim.
In the new assignments, Deputy General Secretary Matrika Yadav has been given charge of Madhes Province, while Secretary Hitman Shakya has been appointed in-charge of Bagmati Province.
Likewise, Standing Committee member Kali Bahadur Malla will lead Karnali Province, and Secretary Chakrapani Khanal has been assigned to Lumbini Province.
Additionally, Secretary Lilamani Pokharel has been appointed as the in-charge of the Contact Coordination Province.
Om Sharma has been given responsibility for the Asia Province, while Standing Committee member Jayapuri Gharti will oversee the Valley Special Province.
In the foreign wings, Laxman Pant has been assigned to the SAARC region, and Ram Karki has been given charge of the Europe and America Province.
