KATHMANDU: A protest was held at Maitighar, Kathmandu, on Monday against the construction of a cable car at Pathibhara.
The ‘No Cable Car Group’ led the demonstration, alleging that the project threatens the religious and cultural significance of the sacred site.
Protesters carried placards with messages such as “No bullets against Mukkumlung conservationists! Stop state terror!” as they voiced their opposition.
