‘Chuche Dhungo Uhi Tungo’ drops as first track from movie ‘Dori’
The song, sung by Rajan Raj Siwakoti and Anju Panta, is written and composed by Rajan Raj Siwakoti himself.
KATHMANDU: The first song of the upcoming Nepali film Dori, releasing on Chaitra 15 (March 28), titled “Chuche Dhungo Uhi Tungo,” has been made public.
The song, sung by Rajan Raj Siwakoti and Anju Panta, is written and composed by Rajan Raj Siwakoti himself.
The music arrangement is done by Rajan Ishan, with backing vocals by Sunil Thapa.
The choreography is directed by Kabiraj Gahatraj, and the song features dance performances by Aryan Sigdel and Anjana Baraily.
Rajan Raj Siwakoti, known for his ability to blend traditional Nepali words into his music, uses colloquial expressions like ‘usineko aalu’, ‘nun khursani’, ‘gundruk’, ‘dhido’, ‘ghatt’, ‘muri anna’, and ‘doko’ in this song, giving it a unique Nepali flavor.
The music video is directed by Sourabh Lama.
Earlier, the movie’s posters hinted at it being a thriller and horror genre.
However, the song showcases Aryan Sigdel and Anjana Baraily in a romantic light, reminiscent of their previous collaboration in the super hit film Pujar Sarki.
Directed and written by Arun Lama, Dori features performances from Praveen Khatiwada, Shishir Bangdel, Prakash Ghimire, Arun Lama, Anjana Baraily, Raj Poudel, Kavita Ale, Nutan, Raj Thapa, and Virendra Singh Kushwaha.
The film is produced by Dinesh Bhattrai, with Raj Thapa as the executive producer.
The script is by Dr. Manoj Pandit, with key contributors including assistant director Dinesh Bahadur Rawat, action director Raju Tamang, and music director Rajan Raj Siwakoti.
