KATHMANDU: Nepal faced another setback in the Tri-Nation T20 Series, losing to the Netherlands for the second time.
Chasing a target of 141 runs, Nepal managed only 125/8 in the allotted 20 overs.
Captain Indu Barma was the top scorer with 30 runs, while opener Samjhana Khadka contributed 23.
Pooja Mahato added 18, and Kavita Joshi scored 14. Mamta Chaudhary (7), Sita Rana Magar (10), Alisha Kumari Yadav (5), and Revati Dhami (2) struggled to make an impact. Rubina Chhetri and Bindu Rawal were dismissed for a duck.
For the Netherlands, Iris, Caroline de Lange, and Heather Siegers took two wickets each, while Eva Lynch and Isabelle van der Woning claimed one apiece.
Earlier, the Netherlands posted 140/9 in 20 overs after winning the toss. Captain Babette de Leede led the charge with a 41-run knock off 38 balls, including four boundaries and a six.
Heather Siegers contributed 26, while Robin Rijke and Phoebe Molkenboer scored 21 runs each.
Sita Rana Magar was the standout performer for Nepal, taking an impressive five-wicket haul, conceding just 12 runs in three overs.
Manisha Upadhyay bagged two wickets, while Kavita Joshi and Indu Barma picked up one each.
With this loss, Nepal remains winless against the Netherlands in the series.
