KATHMANDU: Renowned singer Eleena Chauhan has filed for divorce at the Kathmandu District Court through her lawyer, Vishnu Prasad Kharel.
Eleena had married Vishnu Sapkota from Baglung in the month of Baisakh last year, but recently, rumors have circulated about difficulties in their marital life.
In her petition, Eleena has clarified that their marriage did not result in any offspring and that she is not pregnant.
She also mentioned in her divorce petition that after their marriage, her husband left for Australia within a month. Eleena further explained that due to her work in the entertainment industry, her late-night commitments to programs often caused misunderstandings and unnecessary doubts from her husband.
He would frequently call her during events, asking her to return home immediately, which caused tensions in their relationship.
