KATHMADNU: A small jet crashed in Philadelphia on Saturday morning, killing all six people on board, reports confirm.
The victims include two doctors, two pilots, a passenger, and a family member.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Learjet 55 took off at 6:30 p.m. local time but crashed just 30 seconds later, approximately 6.4 kilometers from the airport.
Witnesses reported that the plane struck a residential area, causing a fire. Emergency crews rushed to the scene to contain the blaze and assess the damage.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
This incident comes just days after a separate aviation disaster in Washington, D.C., where a passenger plane and a helicopter collided, killing all 67 people on board.
