Gold price increases on the last trading day of the week

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market surged on the last trading day of the week.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold rose by Rs 2,300 per tola on Friday.

Today, fine gold is being traded at Rs 162,800 per tola, compared to Rs 160,500 per tola on Thursday.

Similarly, silver prices have also increased by Rs 30 per tola, reaching Rs 1,915 per tola.

On Thursday, silver was traded at Rs 1,885 per tola.
