Al-Nassr defeats Al-Raed in Saudi Pro League

KATHMANDU: Al-Nassr secured a 2-1 victory over Al-Raed in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday at King Abdullah Sports City.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Nawaf Boushal scored for Al Nassr, while Amir Sayoud netted for Al-Raed.

Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 35th minute, giving Nassr the lead. Boushal doubled the advantage in the 47th minute.

Sayoud pulled one back in the 76th minute, but it wasn’t enough for Al-Raed to stage a comeback.

With 38 points from 18 matches, Al-Nassr sits third in the table. Al-Raed remains 15th with 14 points.

Al-Hilal leads the league after 17 matches.
