Meeting of Madhesh-based political parties begins

KATHMANDU: A meeting of Madhesh-based political parties has commenced at Singha Durbar on Thursday.

Eight parties are participating in the discussion, including Janata Samajbadi Party, Janamat Party, Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, Nagarik Unmukti Party, Loktantrik Samajbadi Party Nepal, Rastriya Mukti Party Nepal, Janata Pragatisheel Party, and TMLP.

The Madhesh-based parties have been holding meetings to unite and raise Madhesh-related issues with a collective voice, especially after the government initiated discussions on constitutional amendments.
