KATHMANDU: The 8th edition of ‘Chamber Expo 2025’ has commenced at Bhirkutimandap, Kathmandu, starting Thursday.

Organized by the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, the expo aims to promote and market local products while boosting trade and business.

Chamber of Commerce President Kamlesh Kumar Agarwal highlighted that the event is held in collaboration with the Trade and Export Promotion Centre under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, marking it as an international-level trade fair.

The expo features a wide range of products, including agricultural goods, handicrafts, clothing items, automobiles, electronics, home appliances, logistics, textiles, furniture, garments, leather goods, jewelry, cosmetics, food, and dairy products.

Exhibitors from countries such as Nepal, Bangladesh, India, China, Thailand, UAE, South Korea, Malaysia, and Pakistan have participated.

More than 125 stalls, both domestic and international, are set up at the expo.

Organizers anticipate a turnout of at least 50,000 visitors over the next five days, according to Mela Committee Coordinator Chakubji from the Nepal Chamber of Commerce.
