Festival fosters harmony: NC President Deuba

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said festivals foster social harmony and encourage all to protect religion, culture and tradition.

Extending best wishes for health and progress to all on the occasion of Sonam Lhosar or the New Year of Tamang community, the NC President mentioned Nepal is full of cultural and religious diversity.

He expressed the belief that this festival would inspire all to work for peace, harmony and prosperity in the country and extended best wishes to all those who celebrate this festival.
