Man held for raping 9-year-old girl in Pyuthan

KATHMANDU: Police arrested Kamal Nepali, 33, of Airawati Rural Municipality-5, Balbisona, Pyuthan, on Tuesday afternoon for allegedly raping a 9-year-old girl.

Acting on a complaint, police from the Baraula Police Post apprehended him.

Another suspect has also been detained for investigation.

Authorities are conducting further inquiries into the case.
