Five Nepali technicians selected for ‘Skill Fest Asia 2025’ in Bangalore

KATHMANDU: Five exceptional technicians from Nepal have been selected to represent the country at the upcoming ‘Skill Fest Asia 2025’ competition in Bangalore, India.

The technicians were chosen following rigorous theoretical and practical testing during the regional and national ‘TVS Mechanic Ko Badsaha’ contest, which saw the top 30 participants compete.

The selected technicians are:

  •  Rakesh Nakkhusi – R.D. Auto Trade, Sallaghari, Bhaktapur
  • Suresh Gurung – Gandaki Motors, Pokhara (Persyang)
  • Sujan Raimajhi – Bike Mart Nepal Pvt. Ltd., Khusiboo
  • Sanam Mahto – Mahalaxmi Enterprises, Tandi
  • Sajan Maharjan – Jagadamba Enterprises, Teku

These technicians will now travel to Bangalore to compete as Nepal’s representatives under TVS Nepal.

Previously, TVS Nepal secured second place in the global competition.

This year, there is strong confidence that Nepali technicians will once again deliver excellent performances.

The competition is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing technical skills and establishing Nepal’s identity on the international stage.
