Govt. presents social media regulation bill in parliament

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has presented a bill related to the operation, use, and regulation of social media in the federal parliament.

This bill was submitted in accordance with the decision made during the Cabinet meeting on Jan 20.

Ministry spokesperson, Gajendra Kumar Thakur, informed that there will be a discussion on the bill in the parliament, as it has become a subject of public concern.
