KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and Chair of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ visited Chotlung Park in Basantapur, located in Laligurans Municipality, Tehrathum.

The park, built in traditional indigenous architectural style, received high praise from Dahal for its eco-friendly construction, avoiding the use of concrete.

Initiated by Laligurans Municipality, the park spans over 100 ropanis and includes the Yuma Museum, according to Mayor Arjun Mabuahang.

Dahal’s visit was part of a district-level political training program, as informed by Provincial Assembly Member and Maoist leader Durga Prasad Chapagain.
