Leicester stuns Tottenham with a comeback win in EPL

KATHMANDU: Tottenham Hotspur suffered a disappointing defeat at home as Leicester City came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory in Sunday night’s Premier League clash.

Richarlison put Spurs ahead in the 33rd minute, giving the home side a 1-0 lead heading into halftime.

However, Tottenham failed to maintain their advantage in the second half.

Leicester made a stunning turnaround with two quick goals shortly after the break. Jamie Vardy equalized in the 46th minute, and Bilal El Khannouss netted the decisive goal in the 50th minute.

Despite efforts from both teams, no further goals were scored, and Leicester walked away with a crucial three points.

The win lifts Leicester to 17th place in the league table with 17 points from 23 matches, while Tottenham, with 24 points from the same number of games, sits in 15th place.
