KATHMANDU: A man was fatally attacked with scissors by his younger brother in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-17, Kailali.

According to Darshan Khadka, spokesperson for the Kailali District Police Office, 30-year-old Prakash Bohara attacked his elder brother, 35-year-old Lal Bahadur Bohara, during a dispute.
The incident took place around 12:30 a.m., leaving Lal Bahadur critically injured.
Lal Bahadur was rushed to Mission Hospital in Dhangadhi for treatment.
Despite doctors’ efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at 2:50 a.m.
Preliminary investigations suggest the altercation began as a minor argument, escalating to violence when Prakash, in a fit of rage, attacked his brother with a pair of scissors.
Police have detained Prakash and are conducting further investigations into the incident.
