Weather: Moderate cold wave in Koshi

KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that there is a general influence of westerly wind in the country at present.

Moderate cold wave is prevailing in the eastern region of Madhesh province and Terai region of Koshi province. Foggy weather has prevailed in many places of the rest of the Terai.

The weather is somehow fair in the hilly and mountainous regions.

According to the Division, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region of Koshi province and generally fair in the rest of the country this afternoon.

Necessary precautions are suggested in view of foggy weather condition in many places of the Terai, which may affect daily life, agriculture, health, transport and aviation.
