22-year-old boy held for raping a minor

KATHMANDU: Police arrested 22-year-old Shravan Kumar, a resident of Bharat Motihari, Dumre, Bandipur Rural Municipality-1, on Friday morning on charges of raping a 16-year-old girl.

Police deployed from the District Police Office, Tanahun, arrested him based on a complaint that Shravan had threatened the girl and raped her on Oct 1.

The Nepal Police Central Office has stated that the police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
