KATHMANDU: Malaysia has set a target of 46 runs for Nepal in the ICC U-19 Women’s World Cup.

Batting first after losing the toss, Malaysia was all out in 16.5 overs and could only score 45 runs. Nuriman scored the highest 15 runs for Malaysia.

Other batsmen could not score runs in double figures. Husna and Nur Daniya Suhada scored 5 runs each.

Nuni and Nur Izzatul Syafika contributed 4 runs each. Ain and Batricia scored 1 run each. Malaysia’s 4 batsmen could not even open their accounts.

Captain Pooja Mahato took the most wickets for Nepal with 4 wickets. Rachana Chaudhary took 3 wickets.

Riya Sharma and Simana KC took 1 wicket each.

Nepal now needs just 46 runs to win.
